Trumbull Emergency Medical Services
The Trumbull EMS Second Annual food drive was held on November 18, 2006 at Super Stop & Shop. EMS members Barbara Crandall, Barbara Falkowski, Elin Loh, Robert Slivinski, and Vi Watson were truly awed by the outpouring of generosity. Watching people bring bag after bag to fill that ambulance was heartwarming. More than a few people who walked over with a cart full of food and personal items, took a small bag out and left the remainder to be donated to their neighbors was truly overwhelming. In addition to the ambulance filled with food and personal items, nearly $1000 in cash donations was used to purchase Stop & Shop gift cards for distribution through Social Services.
